I usually listen to the harder type of electronic music but a good 808 drum and some squealing synth (if done right) can soothe me greatly. A good electro or acid techno track seems simple when you listen to it, but if done right, they just work and sounds awesome.
Thanks to some twitter retweets I came across this Anti-Social Network’s Electro Compendium on Bandcamp. A free download with a whopping 116 (I kid you not, one-hundred-and-six-teen!) kicking electro tracks. If you are in need of a fair dose of vintage drum computers and squelching synths, some sci-fi soundscapes and samples and some typical vocoder robotics samples to balance out for the hardcore breaks I’m usually posting here, this might be your cup of tea indeed.
It’s free and so worth the download IMO.
Get it and spread the word to your electro loving peeps (*cough* tweet button below *cough*).
