I wish I had kept a list of things that had me pulling my hair while letting out f-words after f-words. What I don't understand is simply: Why can't they fix these little annoyances? What prevents them? What do they do with their time and all that money? It's obvious removing these annoyances don't add anything to their bottom line. And like all big corporations, that's all that matters. We need to boycott this gay-ass company, MICROCRAP Finally I found a group of people who share my frustration with Microcrap Windows. How hard is it for the search indexer to as the kernel to tell it every time I make a change, my brother who is a programmer uses this functionality he says its a breeze, why can't the people who make the OS and the programming APIs themselves utilize it i can never understand. Also it routinely kicks off my mapped network drives from the places to index thing. So i have to re add them and of course wait hours, days, weeks, possibly years to index, and then when I go to use it It doesn't come up with a file that's on the disk (the indexed disk by the way), I eventually found using search companion which is slow as it has always been but at least it eventually finds the file that is actually there.
